Z4 Series Classic DC Motors

Z4 series DC motors are used as the transmission source of all kinds of machinery, such as mill drive in gold industry, metal cutting machine tools, paper making, printing, textile, printing and dyeing, cement, plastic extrusion machinery, etc. The series adopts polygonal structure with high space utilisation, and is suitable for rectifier power supply.

This series of motors adopts polygonal structure with high space utilisation, the stator yoke is of chip type, suitable for rectifier power supply, able to withstand pulsating current and drastic change of current (load change), the magnetic poles are mounted in a precise position, thus the commutation is good.

The insulation class of the motor is F. Reliable insulation structure and impregnation process are adopted to ensure stable insulation performance and good heat dissipation.

This series of motors have the features of small size, good performance, light weight, high output power, high efficiency and high reliability, which are on a par with today's international advanced level motors.

The motors can be operated for a long time with three-phase fully-controlled bridge rectifier power supply and without external levelling reactor. The motor with rated voltage of 160V is supplied by single-phase bridge power supply, in which case the armature circuit must be connected with reactor to suppress the pulsating current.
